Company Description
Purpose
To drive profitable growth in the Account through development and leadership of an effective team of Site Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Officers that operates through the Securitas Toolbox and Values; delivery of excellent service to existing Local and National customers; improving operating efficiency; and expanding the portfolio. To contribute to the effectiveness of the National Operations team through responsibilities and participation in initiatives that support the development of the business in the UK.
Responsibilities

To define the Account and agree a Strategic Plan for its development that:
- Develops and builds relationships through a partnership approach.
- Is consistent with SSS (UK) strategy using the capabilities of the whole Securitas Group and its partners wherever possible.
- Reflects current and potential demand and is resourced to enable delivery consistent with the Market Matrix and Value Chain.
- Identifies and builds Value Added service capabilities.
- Has clear, measurable KPIs and Objectives consistent with the Six Fingers and other SSS (UK) requirements; and reflect these in Budgets and Business Plans updated as required.

To deliver results from the Account that meets or exceeds the Budget through full responsibility and accountability for:
- Develop a culture of employee engagement ensuring all officers are visited at least once a month, proactively monitor performance, maintain positive employee relations, and ensure coaching, counselling, and investigations are implemented in line with company policy and procedure whilst actively encouraging staff recognition and staff nominations for awards.
- Ensure all staffing levels meet the agreed service level and that all recruitment is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Ensure all assignment instructions and site documentation are current and in date.
- Management of Risk through effective risk assessments.
- Ensuring that the level of service provided does not fluctuate.
- Responsible for ensuring that all incidents are reported in compliance with company policy and procedure.

To assist the National Operations Manager in minimising the Indirect costs of the Account.

To assist the National Operations Manager in developing and sharing of “best practice” and use of systems and tools to improve efficiency. Ensure effective planning and staff management to minimise avoidable and non-chargeable costs including Tribunals.

To progress the account in support of Securitas Strategy 2030 protective services and solutions services within the current portfolio.

To build, develop, lead, and retain a team of Officers and Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Contract Managers that believe and demonstrate through their work that Securitas is different to other Security service providers through:
- Ensuring understanding and demonstrable implementation of the Values of Integrity; Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
- Ensuring adequate and appropriate training, advice, and support is provided to make the team successful. This includes ensuring knowledge and use of key systems, tools, and policies; undertaking regular appraisals; providing open feedback on progress and career development; and use of sanctions for underperformance.
- Active steps to maintain communication; recognise achievement, and develop the Securitas Community.
- Manage recruitment and succession planning to ensure that the Account has the capability to deliver consistent high levels of service.

To ensure all employees in the Account fully understand and comply with all aspects of Securitas Policy and relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including any changes to policies or procedures, and can demonstrate appropriate levels of control.

To actively participate and support the development of the Account through:
- Involvement in the development of the Securitas strategy through involvement with Company and Area initiatives and projects.
- Support to other Branches and support functions by sharing best practice.

Building knowledge of the market and competitors; and enhance the profile of SSS (UK) through engagement of Area staff and participation in local Industry forums.

Identification and assistance with implementation of acquisitions.

Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures, and training as provided by the Company.

Qualifications
Essential
- SIA Non-Frontline Licence (Frontline desirable)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Must have a full clean driving licence
- Good standard IT skills
- At least 3 years’ management experience
- Able to evidence exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Customer service experience
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of P & L accounting
