Location: Oldham
Salary: Up to £37,500
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday | Flexible start and finish times | 1 day WFH after successful 6-month probation
Permanent | Full-time
About The Role
On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join a successful and well-established business.
This is a varied, client-facing role suited to someone who enjoys building strong relationships, managing multiple projects, and working closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive an excellent service from initial enquiry through to completion.
You’ll act as a key point of contact for clients, taking ownership of accounts and coordinating projects while identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, developing strong and long-term relationships.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate projects from initial enquiry and brief through to completion.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate account and project information through the CRM system.
- Manage enquiries, proposals, orders, and delivery updates.
- Coordinate with external teams and attend client/site meetings when required.
- Monitor customer expectations and proactively resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business.
- Provide regular updates and ensure excellent communication with all stakeholders.
- Support wider business projects and initiatives when required.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in Account Management, Client Services, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A commercial, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Confidence working with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- A dependable, positive approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Experience working in a project-led or service-based environment would be advantageous.

Working Hours & Flexibility
- 7.5 hours per day + 30-minute lunch
- Flexible start between 8:00am–9:15am
- Flexible finish between 4:00pm–5:15pm
- Monday–Friday
- 1 day working from home following successful completion of the 6-month probation
