The Role
Role: Account Manager - Biologics (Midlands)
Location: Midlands – Field based
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of our Biologics territory across the Midlands and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued success of our biologics portfolio, working directly with healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders to drive adoption and deliver strong results across your territory.
You will manage your territory as your own business, building trusted customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and developing account plans that translate strategy into action. Working closely with colleagues across Medical, Marketing, and Market Access, you will combine strong commercial thinking with a deep understanding of the local healthcare landscape to maximize opportunities and make an impact for both customers and patients.

This is a highly customer-facing role, suited to someone who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships face-to-face, and taking real ownership for their territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the territory, developing and executing effective territory and account plans aligned with the wider brand strategy.
- Deliver strong sales performance, identifying and maximizing opportunities across key accounts.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, payors, and other key stakeholders across the territory.
- Effectively communicate and differentiate the product value proposition, adapting your approach to the needs and priorities of individual customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of patient pathways, local healthcare ecosystems, key influencers, and decision-makers to inform territory strategy.
- Use sales data, CRM insights, and field intelligence to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and effectively deploy resources.
- Educate healthcare professionals and relevant stakeholders on the disease area, clinical evidence, and product, communicating complex information clearly and effectively.
- Identify and develop relationships with disease-area experts, speakers, and advocates, supporting effective regional and local peer-to-peer activity.
- Work closely with colleagues across Medical, Marketing, and Market Access to develop and implement effective local business plans.
- Support local and regional formulary access in collaboration with Market Access colleagues.
- Plan and manage stakeholder meetings and customer engagement activities, using both face-to-face and omnichannel approaches where appropriate.
- Continuously build your knowledge of the disease area, product, market, and competitive landscape, sharing relevant market intelligence and best practice with the wider team.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in line with industry regulations and Galderma compliance requirements.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven pharmaceutical sales experience within biologics.
- Experience selling low-volume, high-cost treatments within a specialist pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong territory and key account management skills, with the ability to take ownership of your territory and manage it as your own business.
- Strong understanding of the UK healthcare landscape, including local healthcare systems, payors, providers, funding flows, and key stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering successful sales outcomes.
- Ability to understand complex clinical and medical information and communicate it clearly and effectively to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship-building, influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional colleagues across Medical, Marketing, and Market Access.
- A proactive, action-oriented approach with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the territory and meet customers face-to-face.
- ABPI qualified.
- Dermatology and/or immunology experience would be advantageous.
