Overview
HUNTER: London is searching for an Account Manager (AM). The ideal candidate is hands-on, organised, and creative—with the confidence to lead projects, the instinct to anticipate client needs, and the drive to get the very best out of their team.
Responsibilities
AMs manage day-to-day delivery across campaigns and press office functions, translating strategy into action and ensuring timelines, KPIs, and expectations are met (and exceeded). They guide and motivate junior team members, take ownership of client communication, and bring rigour and flair to every campaign touchpoint—from media relations and influencer activations to reporting and ideation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Client Leadership
- Leads the day-to-day relationship with manager-level clients, acting as a go-to partner for updates, insights, and strategic counsel.
- Owns and runs status meetings, clearly demonstrating how work is tracking against KPIs and objectives.
- Anticipates client needs and responds with speed, confidence, and a solutions-first mindset.
- Approves agendas, plans, and materials before senior sign-off, ensuring everything is client-ready.
- Builds deep knowledge of the client’s brand, business, and competitive landscape.

Campaign Execution
- Leads delivery across campaigns and press office workstreams, managing critical paths from start to finish.
- Ensures top-quality work at every stage—briefing, execution, review, and reporting.
- Oversees media outreach and is a trusted contact for journalists; has a strong record of delivering meaningful coverage.
- Comfortable negotiating influencer partnerships and managing contracts and approvals.
- Takes accountability for campaign outcomes, identifying issues early and problem-solving to deliver results.
- Collaborates on creative ideation and contributes to broader campaign strategy.
Communication & Team Management
- Delegates effectively, setting clear tasks, deadlines, and expectations for junior team members.
- Provides constructive feedback and celebrates wins, helping team members grow in confidence and ability.
- Manages up to Account Directors and down to AEs and JAE/Interns, ensuring clear, calm communication flows across the team.
- Creates an optimistic, solution-oriented environment—even when the pressure’s on.
- Produces standout written work with minimal revisions—press releases, pitches, reports, and emails.
Account Operations
- Owns and manages client documentation, from cost trackers and coverage logs to reporting templates.
- Ensures client budgets are accurately managed and all costs are captured.
- Oversees monitoring and evaluation, checking that results are captured, analysed, and reported clearly and correctly.
- Helps ensure all retainer activity runs efficiently and meets agreed standards and timelines.

New Business & Growth
- Supports proposal writing and pitch presentations with creativity and strategic thinking.
Compensation
In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is 35K-40K GBP. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
