Most top-tier IT recruiters didn't get into this industry to spend 70% of their week formatting CVs, screening candidates and managing delivery logistics. At Randstad Digital, we strip the role back to what high performers do best: driving strategy, owning client relationships and closing enterprise deals.

We are hiring an Account Manager to join our Randstad Digital UK team in a true 180° sales-focused capacity. In this role, you will own and dominate a dedicated industry sector, taking full responsibility for building and scaling your own client portfolio. You hunt, secure and strategically scale high-margin accounts while backed by an elite "army" of dedicated delivery recruiters and resource teams who handle candidate sourcing and fulfillment.

As part of the biggest recruitment business in the world, you will leverage our global scale, market intelligence and "Partner for Talent" strategy. You have full enterprise backing to position specialised digital talent solution capabilities and capture market leadership across the UK.

What’s in it for you:

  • Focus 100% of your time on client engagement, strategic mapping, commercial negotiations and driving revenue and gross profit.
  • Full autonomy to own, target and dominate a dedicated industry sector with the scale of the world's largest recruitment company behind you.
  • Work from anywhere in the UK with a company culture built on trust, agility and performance.
  • An industry-leading commission structure designed to heavily reward high performers who surpass targets.
  • Backed by an army of delivery consultants, candidate databases, world leading technology and global talent centers to fulfill your wins rapidly.
  • Sell across contract, permanent, retained search, project-based talent solutions and digital enablement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
