Account Manager (Commercial Insurance Brokers)
Location: Pencoed, Bridgend (Hybrid Considered)
Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

Are you an insurance professional looking to elevate your career with a forward-thinking firm? We are seeking a dynamic, client-focused Account Manager to join our growing team and take on an existing book of business.
In this role, you will be the trusted day-to-day contact for an established portfolio of clients, ensuring high retention rates and seamless service and supporting our Account Executives.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Retention: Manage and nurture an existing portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring exceptional satisfaction and high renewal rates.
- Account Administration: Handle daily client queries, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and the preparation of accurate renewal documentation.
- Market Placement: Liaise and negotiate with insurers and underwriters to secure optimal terms and comprehensive cover for your clients.
- Problem Solving: Act as the first point of escalation for clients, resolving complex coverage queries and supporting them through the claims process when needed.
What You Bring

- Experience: Preferably minimum of 2 years of experience within the insurance industry, ideally in an account handling or management capacity.
- Qualifications: Cert CII qualification is highly preferred (or a commitment to working towards it, fully supported by us).
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to build rapport effortlessly with both clients and underwriters.
- Mindset: A reliable, proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative, hybrid working environment.
