About the Role
We're looking for a Desk Based Account Manager to join our growing Connectivity Sales team in Nelson. Whether you already have account management experience within telecoms or you're a driven sales professional who understands the channel and enjoys speaking with customers, we'd love to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow your own portfolio of Connectivity Partners, helping them maximise opportunities across our market-leading connectivity solutions. You'll work alongside a supportive team of Account Managers, Sales Managers, and Account Directors, giving you exposure to experienced professionals and clear opportunities to develop your career.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and developing a portfolio of Connectivity Partners.
- Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the wider product portfolio.
- Achieving monthly sales and growth targets.
- Building trusted relationships with partners and becoming their go-to contact.
- Supporting partners with connectivity solutions and new product propositions.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams including Product and Marketing.
- Helping partners maximise supplier programmes, incentives, and funding opportunities.
- Delivering regular partner performance reviews and business updates.
- Presenting confidently to stakeholders, including senior decision-makers.
- Supporting go-to-market activity such as sales and marketing campaigns.
- Representing the business at industry events, workshops, and networking opportunities when required.

Your Experience
- Experience in telecoms, connectivity, account management, or a customer-facing sales role.
- Confidence in developing relationships and conducting proactive outbound conversations.
- Strong communication, listening, and questioning skills.
- A natural ability to identify customer needs and uncover opportunities.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
