The Role

Boldspace is looking for an ambitious and proactive Account Manager, Corporate PR to help deliver integrated communications programmes for a portfolio of exciting clients across multiple sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate communications professional with strong media relations skills, a strategic mindset and a passion for delivering impactful campaigns that build reputation and drive business results.

Working closely with Account Directors and senior leaders, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day client relationships, delivering high-quality communications programmes and identifying opportunities to add value. You'll collaborate with colleagues across strategy, creative, digital and analytics to create integrated campaigns powered by insight, creativity and technology.

Responsibilities

As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful day-to-day delivery of corporate communications programmes while supporting the strategic direction of client accounts.

You will:

  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted day-to-day contact and ensuring work is delivered to an exceptional standard.
  • Support the planning and delivery of integrated corporate communications programmes, including corporate positioning, executive profiling, announcements, thought leadership and reputation-building activity.
  • Develop and execute proactive media relations campaigns across national, business, trade and regional media.
  • Draft high-quality press releases, opinion articles, briefing documents, award entries, messaging and other corporate communications materials.
  • Monitor the news agenda and identify reactive and proactive opportunities for clients.
  • Help deliver communications strategies that support clients through business milestones, launches and reputation challenges.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets and workflows to ensure programmes are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
  • Work collaboratively with specialists across strategy, creative, digital and analytics to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Support new business opportunities through research, proposal development and pitch preparation.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, helping to develop their skills and confidence.

The Skills We're Looking For

You'll be an organised, commercially aware communications professional with agency experience, excellent writing skills and a passion for corporate storytelling.

You'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building trusted client relationships and finding creative ways to solve communications challenges. You'll also be excited about joining an agency that's using data, technology and creativity to redefine modern communications.

Corporate Communications

You'll have experience supporting and delivering corporate communications programmes, including corporate positioning, executive profiling, thought leadership and reputation-building initiatives.

Media Relations

You'll have strong media relations skills and a track record of securing quality coverage across business, national, trade and regional media. You'll understand what makes a compelling story and be confident pitching to journalists.

Client Management

You'll be confident managing day-to-day client relationships, keeping projects on track and providing proactive recommendations that add value.

You'll be comfortable working across a range of industries and adapting your approach to suit different audiences and business objectives.

You'll enjoy working as part of integrated teams, collaborating with colleagues across PR, creative, strategy, digital and analytics to deliver outstanding work.

Commercial Awareness

You'll understand the importance of delivering value for clients, managing budgets responsibly and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

Relevant Experience

  • Around 3–5 years' experience in a PR or communications agency, with a focus on corporate communications.
  • Experience managing day-to-day client relationships and delivering integrated communications programmes.
  • Demonstrable success securing media coverage across business, trade and national media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience producing high-quality corporate communications materials, including press releases, thought leadership content and briefing documents.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience working with B2B and corporate brands across a range of sectors.
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working as part of an integrated agency team.
  • A good understanding of the evolving corporate communications and media landscape.
