Happy Hour is a leading independent TV-led advertising agency where creative, strategic thinking and production sit under one roof. Based in the heart of Bristol, we’re ranked #1 outside London and #19 nationwide in Campaign's Top 100 Creative Agencies for 2026.

Since 2003, we've worked with household-name brands to create stand-out advertising that delivers outstanding results – giving our clients plenty of reasons to be happy. The agency’s activity covers a full mix of advertising and corporate clients, including the charity, financial services, gaming, and retail sectors. In 2018, Happy Hour also acquired DMS Agency, our sister agency, a specialist direct marketing agency for the charity and not-for-profit sectors.

We’re looking for an Account Manager with experience working in an agency environment, to support the client services team on existing accounts and new business wins. Alongside more senior members of the team, they will be a key point of contact for clients, liaising on the day-to-day running of accounts. They will be involved in shaping creative briefs and will work closely with Producers and internal teams to deliver live projects - with the ability to manage some smaller projects end-to-end where appropriate to support the production team in busy periods.

You’ll bring with you a love for working in a close-knit team, creating effective advertising, being on set, but also thriving on autonomy and ownership of projects and having a fastidious eye for detail.

THIS ROLE IS BASED IN BRISTOL, requiring 3 days in the office per week.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
