Job Title: Account Manager

Salary: Up to £45,000 base + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Midlands or North of England

Work Type: Permanent

Role

WeDo is partnering with an established UK technology services business to recruit an experienced Account Manager.

The organisation supports customers across Microsoft Cloud, Managed Services and Professional Services and has built a strong reputation for long-term customer partnerships and service delivery.

You will take ownership of an existing customer portfolio, focusing on retention, relationship development and commercial growth through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.

This role requires previous experience working within the IT channel. Candidates without channel experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Drive retention and long-term customer satisfaction
  • Identify and convert cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Conduct regular account reviews and develop account growth plans
  • Work closely with technical, sales and delivery teams
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and account information within CRM
  • Ensure customers receive a consistent and commercially valuable service

Required Skills

  • Previous experience working within the IT channel is essential
  • Applications without channel experience will not be considered
  • Proven experience in Account Management, Customer Success or Client Management
  • Strong track record of customer retention, cross-selling and up-selling
  • Experience selling or managing IT services, managed services, cloud solutions or Microsoft technologies
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
  • Experience working with vendors, partners, distributors, resellers or MSPs
  • Full UK driving licence
