Account Manager – Diagnostic Imaging
South of England – Field Based
Circa £60,000 basic with some flexibility + 20% OTE and £7,000 car allowance or company car
Axira Partners is supporting an established and growing Diagnostic Imaging organisation with the recruitment of an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of a significant territory across the South of England.
This is a senior field-based commercial role combining new business development and strategic account management, selling Diagnostic Imaging capital equipment and solutions across the NHS and private healthcare sector.

Candidates must be based within the territory.
The role
- Develop and win new Diagnostic Imaging business across NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers
- Manage and grow existing strategic accounts
- Build relationships with Radiology Managers, Radiographers, Clinicians, Medical Physics, Procurement, Capital Planning, and senior decision-makers
- Identify upcoming equipment replacement cycles and develop opportunities early
- Manage the full sales process from initial prospecting and clinical engagement through to tender, negotiation, and contract award
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of capital equipment opportunities
- Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial proposals
- Take genuine ownership of the territory and its growth

What we're looking for
- Ideally, experience within Medical Imaging / Radiology sales
- Proven capital equipment / complex technical sales experience
- Strong new business development / hunter mentality
- Experience selling into the NHS and navigating procurement processes
- X-ray, Digital Radiography, or Mobile Imaging experience would be particularly relevant
- Wider Medical Device experience will also be considered
- Proven ability to manage long and complex sales cycles
- Commercially hungry, proactive, and comfortable developing your own opportunities
