The Account Manager Role
What This Role Will Do
Can't look at a warm account without spotting untapped growth?
We’re looking for a proactive Account Manager to own and expand a portfolio of enterprise and hyper-growth clients. Think Lovable, ElevenLabs, Meta.
Equal parts strategist and builder, you’ll drive recurring revenue by unlocking multi-department opportunities, upselling solutions like storefronts and claim pages, and running warm outbound campaigns into non-penetrated divisions.
You'll inherit a high-potential book of business continuously fuelled by new client handoffs and executive referrals. You'll bring strategic vision to map account penetration and build clear growth roadmaps.
This is a great opportunity for a balanced "hunter/farmer" mindset - someone who goes beyond account maintenance to actively capture market share within existing logos.
Essential Skills
- Consultative selling. You work out what a client is actually trying to do before you propose anything. We want examples of a deal you shaped around a client problem rather than a product list, and what it was worth.
- Strategic account planning. You can look at an account and say where the next year of revenue comes from, department by department. Show us a plan you wrote and what it delivered against what you expected.
- Identifying opportunities. You spot expansion in accounts other people have written off. Tell us about a dormant or single-order account you reopened, and the number you moved.
- Building relationships. You hold relationships across several departments and several levels inside one client, and you keep them warm. We want to hear about a relationship you grew from one contact into many.
- Organisation. With a large portfolio and many moving parts, nothing can fall through. Tell us how you track your accounts and your follow-ups, and a process you put in place to stop things slipping.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Desirable Skills
- Sales enablement experience, because a lot of our work sits in that space. [GAP: Talent needs to confirm whether this means internal enablement or clients' enablement programmes]
- A strategy-minded approach, so you plan the account rather than react to it.
- Speed, because opportunities here move quickly and the book is growing.
Growth Mindset Over Checklists: We’re looking for impact, not just a perfect cv. If you’re excited about this role but don't check every single box, we still want to hear from you. We see these requirements as a guide; what matters most is your potential to contribute, your passion for our mission, and your ability to solve complex problems.
Application process
- Initial call with the Talent Lead: an informal call to discuss the role and your relevant skillset
- Interview with the Head of Sales (line manager): you’ll have a chance to discuss your experience in more detail
- Take home challenge: an authentic insight to what you might do in the role
- Interview with the Head of Sales and account management team: you’ll have a chance to showcase your skills through a presentation with Q&A
