About The Role

As Account Manager for Mobius, you will ensure services are delivered accurately against the key performance indicators set out in each customer contract. You will help customers achieve their business goals while supporting sustainable profit for Mobius, building long-term relationships beyond the initial contract period and identifying opportunities to increase turnover and profitability.

Key responsibilities

Customer service and account management

  • Deliver services in line with each contract or service agreement.
  • Meet customers to the agreed schedule to review KPIs and understand their requirements.
  • Produce meeting minutes and clear actions, ensuring agreed timescales are met.
  • Record customer contacts and calls in the CRM system to maintain continuity.
  • Add KPIs, meeting minutes and actions to the customer portal promptly.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to complete agreed actions.
  • Support compliance activities, including supplier waste audits.

Contract renewal and commercial support

  • Prepare and deliver a new contract offer before the existing contract ends, with support from the Commercial Manager.
  • Assist the Commercial Manager with tenders for new and existing business as required.

Business growth

  • Record all account growth opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Assess the likelihood and potential value of opportunities accurately.
  • Support new commercial activity as directed by the National Account Manager or Commercial Manager.
  • Help build the database of potential customers within the food and drink sector.

Other responsibilities

  • Follow all relevant risk assessments, guidance, health and safety legislation, and company policies and procedures.
  • Take reasonable care for your own safety and that of colleagues and others who may be affected by work undertaken for the company.

Skills And Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent numerical and IT skills.
  • Proven ability to manage your time independently and efficiently.
  • Experience planning travel effectively to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
  • Previous experience using cloud-based CRM software.
  • Practical understanding of the waste industry gained through previous work experience.
  • A proven record of achieving strong KPI results.
  • Experience leading customer meetings, identifying requirements and delivering agreed actions.
  • A track record of identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them for the benefit of the business.
