Account Manager within the One EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Team
As an Account Manager within the One EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Team, you will report directly to the Account Management Director (EAM) and you will deliver within the One EAM Team in service of our client-centric growth initiatives. This is a diverse role which covers four main areas of responsibility:
Account Ownership
- You will hold overall responsibility and ownership for the strategic management of Key and Emerging accounts within the EAM Portfolio - many of these accounts will likely be within the Rail Sector. You will develop Arcadis’ relationship as a ‘Trusted Advisor’ for your accounts and maintain medium and long-term account plans focused on client-centric long-term success and growth.
- You will work with both the Global Commercial Pricing Director and the Service and Support Hub (SSH) to process Licence, Hosting and Support renewals as well as managing enhancement requests associated with your specific account(s).
- You will engage with the wider One-Arcadis network to develop cross-selling opportunities and manage these through to contract execution. You may also be required to develop third-party relationships to deliver to the client’s long-term strategy.
- You will work with Programme / Project managers within the EAM Delivery Team to effect hand-over of new clients from delivery phase into BAU continuous improvement.

Pursuit Support
- In addition to your responsibilities relating to your assigned account(s), you will participate in pursuits and bid activities. As a contributing member of a pursuit team, you will work under the direction of a pursuit lead with support from the Bid Management Office to create account-winning content and cost models.
Enhancement Request Manager
- As Enhancement Request manager, you will liaise with SSH, Product Teams and other Account Managers to triage and process a wide range of enhancement requests as they are raised via the service hub across our portfolio of accounts.
- You will assess the incoming requests efficiently in partnership with Product Teams and determine whether the request can be fulfilled either by product development or as a chargeable service. Having validated these with client stakeholders and internal Arcadis teams to ensure alignment of expectations, scope, schedule and cost, you will develop ROM cost models and liaise with the client and account managers to produce approved proposals to service the clients’ needs.
Digital Enhancement
- This role offers the successful candidate a unique opportunity to demonstrate their Digital Automation and AI capabilities in development of process and tooling which supports our bid-winning activities. This may include (but is not limited to) development of tools to optimize lead qualification, Go/No-Go decision making and content development.
Mode
- This is a client-facing role, and some UK and EU travel will be required for face-to-face meetings and attendance at industry events etc. (Typically 40% / 2 days/week).
Role accountabilities:
- Strategic account management to deliver long-term growth
- Tactical account management to achieve near-term success
- Identification and development of Growth opportunities both for Arcadis Digital Intelligence products and services but also wider Arcadis’ offerings
- Support tracking of client return on investment, KPIs and benchmarking
- Support generation of co-marketing opportunities, case studies and reference visits
- Management of Licence, Hosting and Support renewals
- Management of Enhancement Requests
- Pursuit support for existing and potential new clients

Advantageous Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates who can contribute any of the following experience will be at an advantage:
- CSAM Certification
- Professional accreditation from a technical Institution
- Account development & long-term planning
- Technical pre-sales and ability to lead demonstrations
- Rail Industry experience
- French / German / Spanish language
- Asset Management practices and principles
- Enterprise Asset Management system implementation
- Understanding of contract documents and commercial processes
