Position Overview:
Supporting the Vice President for the EMEA region, the Account Manager will be entrusted with a supportive role across three main areas:
- 60% - Account management for Maxx Marketing (www.maxx-marketing.com)
- 30% - Commercial strategy for YuMe Toys (www.yumetoys.com)
- 10% - Intellectual property acquisition (inbound licensing) for YuMe Toys and Maxx Marketing.
Maxx Marketing is a global promotions agency that creates large-scale bespoke merchandise promotional campaigns for major fast-moving consumer goods companies. The Account Manager manages client relationships, drives campaign delivery, and oversees project execution for regional and global clients.
YuMe Toys is a global toys and collectibles company specialised in creating original, design-led collectibles inspired by the world’s most iconic pop culture franchises across entertainment, anime, and gaming. The Account Manager will help oversee cross-functional cooperation between Marketing Operations, Finance, and Creative / Product Development to ensure go-to-market plans are met and commercial objectives are achieved.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities @ Maxx Marketing
- Manage day-to-day client communication, expectations, and agency partner relationships.
- Lead end-to-end campaign and project delivery.
- Work closely with Operations, Creative, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure a smooth and effective project delivery.
- Work with team in developing concepts, prepare sales presentations, and formulate successful proposals.
- Oversee commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and scope development.
- Ability to develop and grow relationships with current clients and partners.

Core Responsibilities @ YuMe Toys
- Strategy planning: Support with creation of yearly plans, sales goals, and growth ideas for toy lines.
- Product: Support product development process, from ideation to final product, by analysing relevant market research, identifying key demand drivers, participating in brainstorms, and championing projects internally.
- Marketing: Liaise with marketing to ensure commercial priorities are reflected in marketing plans.
- Budget: Track spending to make sure projects stay on budget.
- Research: Study market trends and customer feedback to find new toy ideas.
- Licensing: Support with identification and acquisition of strong intellectual properties from Entertainment, Gaming, Anime, and Popular Culture.
Qualifications
Key Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- At least 5 years account management experience within an integrated or Below The Line (BTL) agency environment or similar. Brand or product marketing experience in toys & collectibles is a plus.
- Strong background in project management, commercial budgeting, and time management.
- Strong data analysis, clear communication, and creative problem-solving.
- Confident presentation skills and commercial acumen.
- Eagerness to multi-task and readiness to thrive in a multifaceted environment.
- Proficiency in English is essential. Additional European language skills (such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, or other European languages) would be highly advantageous.
- Willingness and ability to undertake occasional international travel within EMEA and other regions as required.
