Account Manager

Location: Huntingdon
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic + commission

About the Role

We are looking for a driven, customer-focused Account Manager to join our clients growing business in Huntingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales or account management professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will take responsibility for managing and developing an established portfolio of customers, helping them maximise the value of our services while identifying opportunities to increase revenue across our extensive range of large format print solutions. You will also play an active role in generating new business and developing new customer relationships.

Working closely with our in-house production and customer service teams, you will ensure every project is delivered to the highest standards, helping to build long-term partnerships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of customers, maintaining regular contact with key decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue through cross-selling and upselling products and services.
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, and proactive sales activity.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and secure profitable business.
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
  • Meet and exceed sales, margin, and account growth targets.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and printing technologies.

About You

You will be a confident communicator with a proven ability to build strong customer relationships and grow sales. You will be commercially minded, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time. A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven B2B sales or account management experience.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to account development.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience managing multiple client accounts.
  • Background in large format print, POS, retail graphics, exhibition displays, signage, vehicle graphics, or branded environments.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
