About Ignition Collective
Ignition Collective is a forward-thinking agency that does brilliant things, together.
We create exceptional marketing, sponsorship and experiential programmes for some of the world’s leading brands across motorsport, automotive and specialist sectors. We pride ourselves on combining strategic thinking with flawless execution, delivering work that inspires audiences and drives measurable business results.
The Role
Are you a motivated, proactive professional who thrives on variety and making an impact?
We’re looking for someone who will create an immediate impact within our company and across one of our client accounts, delivering events within various disciplines, including motorsport, days and conferences.
Reporting to the Account Director, the Events Account Manager will be responsible for organising and implementing events throughout the year. The successful person will need to be happy to get stuck in with managing lots of elements, have a desire to get their hands dirty, and importantly, deliver onsite. So, a willingness to travel is a must.
A solid understanding of global brand sponsorship is essential to identifying client partnership objectives and how events support their broader sponsorship strategy and business goals. You should be able to plan several events simultaneously, demonstrating the ability to multitask with significant event experience in executing multifaceted activities to the highest level and with precise attention to detail.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join Us?
At Ignition, you’ll be part of a collaborative agency working at the forefront of global motorsport sponsorship, leading one of our flagship accounts while developing your career within an ambitious and supportive team.
Company Overview
Born as a motorsport and automotive marketing agency in 2013, we honed our skills in the fast-paced, technical, competitive world of racing. This drove us to provide solutions to tight, immovable deadlines and deliver to a high standard on time. Teamwork was the only way to succeed, and creative problem-solving became second nature. All good stuff, right? So why should these qualities be limited to motorsport and automotive marketing? We realised our approach would add value to businesses from other industries. So we grew. Our creativity grew. Our team grew. Our ambitions grew. But not our egos. No. We’re decent people doing work we love. And doing it well. As an independent agency, we won’t hold you to ransom with heavy retainers. We believe in finding a way of working that suits everyone. And we think that’s why so many of our clients have been with us for years.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
