Responsibilities

Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced, high-performing Account Manager to establish and grow our direct presence in Ireland. This is a strategic customer-facing role responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and positioning the full Keysight portfolio across Ireland's rapidly growing technology sector.

The successful candidate will own strategic customer relationships while working closely with Keysight's channel partners, distributors, application engineers, product specialists, and European sales teams to deliver complete test and measurement solutions. The role requires a consultative sales approach, strong technical understanding, and the ability to influence decision-makers across engineering, procurement, and executive leadership.

Strategic Account Management

  • Own and develop a portfolio of strategic accounts across semiconductor, telecommunications, aerospace & defence, electronics, AI, cloud, data centre, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
  • Develop long-term account plans to increase market share and revenue growth.
  • Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, R&D teams, procurement, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Identify new opportunities across the complete Keysight portfolio, including hardware, software, services, and support.

Business Development

  • Generate new business through proactive customer engagement and market development.
  • Identify emerging technology trends and align Keysight solutions to customer roadmaps.
  • Develop opportunities from concept through quotation, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Deliver consistent pipeline growth and achieve annual sales targets.

Channel & Partner Management

  • Work collaboratively with authorised distributors and channel partners to maximise market coverage.
  • Develop joint business plans with partners to identify new opportunities and accelerate growth.
  • Support partner sales teams through joint customer visits, technical workshops, and opportunity reviews.
  • Ensure partner alignment with Keysight's strategic objectives and customer engagement model.

  • Coordinate with Field Application Engineers, Solution Architects, Product Specialists, Services, and Marketing to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Lead internal account strategy reviews and opportunity planning.
  • Coordinate executive sponsorship for major strategic accounts.

Customer Success

  • Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive communication and proactive account management.
  • Drive customer retention while increasing share of wallet through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years' experience in technical sales or strategic account management.
  • BEng, MEng, or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM discipline.
  • Proven track record selling complex technology solutions into enterprise or industrial customers.
  • Experience within Test & Measurement, Semiconductor, RF, Electronics, Telecommunications, Networking, or related high-technology industries.
  • Demonstrated success managing multimillion-euro customer portfolios.
  • Experience working with indirect sales channels and distribution partners.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and business development skills.
