About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring excellent customer service, identifying opportunities for growth, and supporting the Key Account Managers. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring orders are processed smoothly and client needs are met.

The role combines client relationship management, sales support, and account development within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with a portfolio of existing clients
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to understand their needs and requirements
  • Support the Key Account Managers in developing strategic accounts
  • Monitor account performance and sales activity
  • Process and manage client orders from enquiry through to delivery
  • Liaise with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Provide accurate updates to customers regarding order status
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM and internal systems

About You

You will be:

  • Experienced in B2B sales
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work well within a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • A great communicator both written and verbally

Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience in the same or similar industry is an advantage
  • Understanding of fabrication methods and material processing is an advantage
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify sales opportunities
  • Good problem-solving ability and customer-focused mindset
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
