Role Description
The Account Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Stockport. The Account Manager will manage and grow relationships with trade customers, handle daily enquiries, and provide product advice and quotations.

Responsibilities include:
- Processing orders
- Following up on leads
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Ensuring timely communication regarding stock availability, deliveries, and pricing

The role involves working closely with the warehouse and sales teams to coordinate customer orders, resolve issues, and support smooth operations. The Account Manager will also identify new business opportunities, help implement sales initiatives, and contribute to delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Customer relationship management and account management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term trade partnerships.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including experience in identifying opportunities, upselling, and meeting sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with clear, professional telephone and in-person manners.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including accurate data entry, order processing, and attention to detail.
- Basic IT proficiency (e.g., CRM systems, email, spreadsheets) and ability to learn new software tools.
- Knowledge of or interest in bathroom products, building supplies, or the trade sector is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Stockport, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and respond promptly in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in account management, trade counter sales, or a customer-facing role; relevant vocational training or qualifications are an advantage.
