About the Role
We are looking for an Account Manager for New Business in the UK to join MTD’s Flex Water division. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity within an international start-up division that forms part of a rapidly growing global organisation.
As a trusted partner in water solutions, the Flex Water division supports both urgent and planned projects in remote and challenging locations worldwide. Key sectors you will work with include: temporary housing, infrastructure, defence, industry, healthcare, and water utilities. Given the vast opportunities in these sectors, MTD offers you the chance to take ownership of a business segment where you can develop both professionally and commercially. In line with MTD’s ambitions, you look forward to building on the growth of the Flex Water division.

In your role as New Business Account Manager Flex, no two days are the same. You will be responsible for the commercial development and successful delivery of a variety of unique projects, from the initial site visit right through to the final project evaluation with the client. You will maintain and develop the existing client portfolio and acquire new clients. You will oversee the quality of project delivery and monitor market developments to identify emerging opportunities and trends. You will work closely with the Engineering & Design team and with experienced project managers. Finally, you will report to our Sales Director for Flex Europe in the Netherlands.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years’ work experience, including several years in a similar role
- Excellent command of the English language
- You can manage several projects at the same time
- You are results-driven and have a strong understanding of your target market
- You have a genuine enthusiasm for building and maintaining customer relationships
- You are proactive and have strong communication skills
- You are a team player, but can also work independently
- You are flexible and willing to travel nationally and internationally
