ACCOUNT MANAGER | FURNITURE & LIGHTING
London | Full-time
£45,000 base + commission
£80,000 OTE at target, with genuine scope to earn more
This is for someone with experience - transferable skills are not enough (sorry)
A strong opportunity for an experienced furniture salesperson or Account Manager who wants greater ownership, better earning potential and the chance to work across genuinely design-led projects.
We’re working with a growing furniture and lighting consultancy delivering projects across hospitality, workplace, residential and leisure. The business sits between design, procurement and project delivery, working closely with architects, designers and clients to source and deliver furniture and lighting schemes that balance aesthetics, budget, programme and environmental responsibility.
They are now looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of clients, deliver projects and develop long-term commercial relationships.
THE ROLE
This is a client-facing, commercially focused position combining account management, furniture specification, project ownership and sales. You’ll work with clients from the early stages of a brief through to final delivery, helping translate design intent into furniture and lighting solutions that are well considered, commercially viable and deliverable. You’ll be expected to take real ownership of your accounts. That means building strong relationships, understanding where opportunities exist, developing specifications and proposals, managing pricing and margin, and making sure projects are handed over and delivered properly. This isn’t just about winning the initial order. The aim is to become a trusted partner to your clients, develop repeat business and grow accounts over the long term.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

ABOUT YOU
