Our client is a growing Glasgow-based business that helps high-net-worth individuals and investors access and manage specialist alternative assets, providing a highly tailored and consultative service to clients across the UK and internationally. Description

As part of continued growth, we're looking for an Account Manager who can build trust, develop relationships, and influence outcomes through credibility rather than hard-selling.

The Opportunity

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, understanding what motivates them, and guiding them through important commercial decisions.

  • You'll manage conversations with engaged prospective and existing clients, developing relationships over time and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
  • Success comes from asking the right questions, listening carefully, and communicating value effectively.
  • While relationship-building is central to the role, you'll also possess the commercial drive required to convert opportunities, grow revenue, and maximise your own bonus earnings.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Developing a deep understanding of client objectives and requirements.
  • Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Nurturing opportunities and maintaining regular client contact.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase account value and strengthen client relationships.
  • Delivering a consultative, professional, and highly personalised client experience.
  • Working towards individual targets and performance objectives.

Profile

A successful Account Manager should have:

  • Experience in an Account Management, Business Development, Relationship Management, or consultative sales role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A natural ability to build rapport and earn trust.
  • Commercial awareness and the confidence to ask for the business when the opportunity is right.
  • Self-motivation and a desire to succeed financially.
  • Professional, articulate, and highly organised.
  • Someone who prefers relationship-led selling over aggressive sales tactics.
