Account Manager – Insurance Sector

Are you an experienced Account Manager with a strong understanding of the financial services market? Our client, a recognised leader in financial data management, is looking for a collaborative and commercially minded professional to drive growth across key insurance accounts in the UK.

They are now seeking an Account Manager to focus on developing and expanding existing insurance sector clients across the UK, identifying new opportunities within established accounts and driving long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of insurance sector accounts, driving revenue expansion and client retention
  • Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing clients
  • Build and maintain strong, senior-level relationships across client organisations
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to support targeted account campaigns
  • Develop and deliver value-based propositions aligned to client needs and regulatory challenges
  • Own the full account lifecycle, from onboarding through to ongoing growth and renewal
  • Work cross-functionally with product, delivery, and support teams to ensure successful client outcomes
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and presentations
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and account plans
  • Contribute to wider commercial strategy, including pricing and go-to-market initiatives
  • Support contract renewals and negotiate commercial agreements

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of the financial services sector, including market dynamics and regulatory requirements
  • Proven experience in account management within financial services or B2B SaaS environments
  • Track record of growing existing accounts and delivering revenue targets
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially astute, with experience in managing complex client engagements
  • Familiarity with structured sales or account management methodologies
