Job Title

Account Manager

Medscape / WebMD is seeking a dynamic, agile Account Manager to lead high-impact, multi-channel healthcare initiatives. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end digital project delivery, executing cutting-edge marketing strategies (including AI-driven visual campaigns), and expanding commercial relationships across global pharmaceutical and HCP accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership & Commercial Growth: Serve as the primary client interface across key medical affairs and pharmaceutical accounts. Identify organic growth opportunities, leading commercial discussions to expand campaign scopes.
  • Innovative Digital Delivery: Oversee the development and maintenance of digital assets, including HCP platforms, patient caregiver websites, and multi-channel engagement initiatives.
  • AI & Visual Campaign Execution: Lead cross-functional briefings with design, technical, and regulatory teams to pilot and scale innovative AI visual assets and modern marketing tech tools across diverse brand portfolios.
  • Agile Project Management: Manage 6–8 concurrent projects, balancing strict regulatory compliance, tight client timelines, and budget accuracy (estimates, invoicing, financial tracking).
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement internal workflow efficiencies, resourcing strategies, and cross-departmental alignment to accelerate delivery timelines and boost audience engagement.
  • Performance Reporting: Track, report, and analyze campaign metrics to demonstrate clear engagement uplifts and drive continuous improvement for clients.

  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive commercial, campaign management, or account leadership experience within healthcare agencies, pharmaceutical consulting, or digital health environments. (Contract/project-based backgrounds welcome).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MSc) in a relevant analytical, health, or social sciences field highly desirable.
  • Digital & AI Tooling: Proven experience working with AI visual development or adopting next-generation digital tools. Proficiency in platform management and CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Monday.com, Figma, Smartsheet).
  • Communication & Precision: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a track record of high accuracy in client-facing documentation and financial administration.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence senior client stakeholders, manage regulatory review processes, and collaborate effectively with creative, technical, and analytical teams.
