⏰ Hours: Monday – Friday / 0830 – 1700 – we are flexible on start and finish times
💰 Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience
📊 Reports to: Commercial Manager
📍 Location: Dungannon

The Role

The Account Manager will act as the main point of contact for dedicated customer accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring customer requirements are delivered effectively.

Working closely with internal teams across commercial, production, NPD, supply chain, logistics and technical, the role will manage account performance, forecasting, product launches and key projects, while ensuring customer standards are met.

The role will provide proactive account management and excellent customer service through clear communication, strategic planning and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage key customer accounts and build strong relationships.
  • Oversee account operations, contracts, systems and performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth account delivery.
  • Ensure customer requirements, standards and compliance are met.
  • Manage new product development and launches.
  • Support technical, quality and KPI management.
  • Provide market, customer and competitor insight.
  • Attend customer meetings

This role involves limited travel within the UK (< 10%), all of which is preplanned with notice

Essential Criteria

  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer account management or a similar customer facing role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with good proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Commitment to building strong customer relationships and delivering a high standard of service

Desirable Criteria

  • Degree-level qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, Food Science, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of the food industry, including products, supply chains, retailers, wholesalers, foodservice, or manufacturing.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Production, Logistics and Quality teams
  • Experience using CRM systems
