Job Duties
We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Account Manager to join our growing team in the UK. This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships while uncovering new business opportunities.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing existing customer accounts and identifying new opportunities within the upstream Oil & Gas sector. You will work closely with customers to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how our software and AI-enabled solutions can help them improve performance, efficiency, and decision-making.
This position requires a strong commercial mindset, a proactive approach, and a "hunter" mentality to generate new business and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of upstream Oil & Gas customer accounts.
- Develop strategic relationships with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Drive software renewals, upsell, and cross-sell activities.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities.
- Develop account plans and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Understand customer business objectives and align software solutions to their needs.
- Collaborate with technical sales, customer success, product, and marketing teams.
- Stay current on industry trends, digital transformation initiatives, and AI developments impacting the energy sector.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry conferences, and networking events.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or Customer Success.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Experience & Skills
- Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, digital solutions, or technology services.
- Knowledge of the upstream Oil & Gas industry, including exploration, development, drilling, production, or subsurface workflows.
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its business applications within the energy industry.
- Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Ability to engage with both technical and business decision-makers.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar systems.
