The Role
JBA Risk Management is a leading provider of flood and natural hazard data, models and analytics, helping organisations around the world understand and manage risk. Our clients rely on our products and expertise to support decision-making across insurance, finance, government and other sectors.
As an Account Manager in the Client Services team, you'll build trusted client relationships, provide support and guidance, coordinate product deliveries and help clients make effective use of our data and services.
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working collaboratively in a varied role that combines client support, communication and continuous learning.
You will be joining an award-winning environmental and engineering consultancy which puts innovation, sustainability and resilience at the heart of its work.
We are independent and staff-owned under a stewardship model which drives long term decision making and investment. We have offices in the UK, Ireland, Romania, India, Singapore and Australia. Our people are all important and we invest heavily in life-long learning and skills development.
Your role
As an Account Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for a range of clients, helping them make effective use of JBA's flood and natural hazard data, models and services. You'll build trusted relationships, provide support and training, coordinate product deliveries and updates, and help clients navigate change with confidence.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with clients, Product teams and colleagues across Client Development to resolve queries, support product adoption, gather feedback and deliver a high-quality client experience.
Alongside managing a range of clients, Account Managers may also develop specialist areas of focus based on their interests, strengths and the needs of the team. Examples include:
- Product and service development – representing client needs and helping shape product improvements.
- Helpdesk and support operations – improving support processes, knowledge sharing and service delivery.
- Training and client enablement – helping clients build confidence and capability through training and guidance.
- Client operations and intelligence – using data, knowledge management, automation and AI to improve efficiency and scalability.
You don't need to be an expert from day one. We provide support, training and opportunities to build product and industry knowledge over time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
