We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for a brand-new Account Manager, based at our customer site in Birmingham.
About the Account Manager role:
As our Account Manager, you will be the main contact for the customer on-site at their premises (whilst still being employed by Hayley).
You will be located in an office on-site 5 days a week, procuring goods, dealing with engineering enquiries, and attending management meetings.
A typical day would include supporting projects, providing technical support to the customer, which may involve assisting with the identification of parts, answering queries, preparing quotes, and processing orders on the customer CMS/ERP systems as well as our own.

You'll be working with internal and external stakeholders from our strategic accounts team to key suppliers.
This customer is in the heavy industry sector, so you'll ideally have crossover knowledge with product knowledge around core areas such as bearings.
What we’re looking for in our Account Manager:
- Experience within the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) industry is essential. Will consider similar cross-over industries.
- Experience in the procurement of engineering consumables.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals across various levels within the organization is essential, as the role requires direct collaboration with the customer engineering team.
- Ability to work on an autonomous basis.
- Driven and motivated.
- Full driving licence is preferable.
- Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
- Basic computer skills, including experience in using Microsoft Office.
- Able to prioritize workload and work as a part of a team.
