Position Description

At CGI, we help leading insurance organisations transform their businesses through innovative technology, consulting and managed services. As an Account Manager, you’ll build trusted client relationships, identify opportunities for growth and connect clients with solutions that deliver real impact. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities

You'll manage and grow relationships with established CGI insurance clients, helping them achieve their business goals while identifying new opportunities for CGI. Working alongside experienced Client Partners, consulting and delivery teams, you'll contribute ideas, build commercial expertise and develop your career with ongoing mentoring and support.

  • Build Relationships: Develop trusted partnerships with clients and understand their business priorities.
  • Drive Account Growth: Identify opportunities to expand CGI's technology, consulting and managed services.
  • Shape Opportunities: Support proposals, commercial discussions and new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Develop Account Plans: Contribute to account strategies, sales pipelines and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work with CGI specialists to develop solutions that deliver measurable client value.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and working collaboratively to achieve results. You'll bring account management, client management or business development experience, with an interest in technology and consulting. You don't need to be an insurance expert - we'll support you in developing your industry knowledge and commercial skills.

  • Relevant Experience: Account management, client relationship management or business development within technology, consulting, outsourcing or managed services.
  • Relationship Skills: Experience building client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of sales processes, proposals and commercial considerations.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Confidence working with different stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Proactive Mindset: Ability to take initiative, manage priorities and develop new opportunities.
