Are you an Account Manager who enjoys solving problems, getting things done and understanding how technology can make a difference to customers?

If you’re naturally curious, enjoy working out how things work and like bringing the right people together to find solutions, we’d like to hear from you.

Insurance or Insurtech experience is a major bonus, but we’re particularly interested in people with a strong mindset and a genuine curiosity about finding tech solutions.

About The Role

As an Account Manager at SchemeServe, your day-to-day will involve engaging with our clients regularly — through quality phone calls and video calls every day, as well as meeting clients in person once or twice a week.

Your main focus will be cultivating long-lasting relationships that drive client retention and renewals, helping our customers succeed with SchemeServe.

However, this role is about more than simply managing relationships. Our clients rely on us to help them solve problems, and you’ll often need to work out who needs to be involved, bring the right people together, find the answers and keep things moving until a solution is found.

You’ll need to be someone who is curious about how things work, take ownership, ask questions, follow the different threads, understand what’s happening and work with our technical and insurance experts to find a way forward.

While we’re a fully remote company, this role involves regular in-person client meetings (typically once or twice per week), so it suits someone who enjoys getting out to meet customers.

Salary: £40,000+ (depending on experience)

Who This Role Suits

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Enjoys building strong, long-term relationships with clients
  • Is naturally curious and interested in technology and how things work
  • Enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions
  • Takes ownership and follows things through rather than simply passing problems on
  • Is good at bringing the right people together to get things done
  • Is hardworking, responsive and able to move things forward quickly
  • Is diligent and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep track of multiple threads at once
  • Enjoys asking questions and understanding the bigger picture and isn’t afraid to dig deeper
  • Is comfortable working with both technical and non-technical people
  • Takes a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes
  • Is an excellent communicator

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Act as a senior point of escalation for client concerns or complaints.
  • Monitor account health, identifying risks, opportunities and areas where we can improve the customer experience.
  • Report proactively to the Chief of Wunderwriting on successes, risks, account health and opportunities across your portfolio.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical people.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to keep track of multiple workstreams.

  • Experience working with software, technology platforms or SaaS products is highly desirable.
  • The ability to build rapport easily and develop trusted, long-term client relationships.
  • Experience in the insurance / Insurtech industry is a major bonus and will help you quickly understand our customers, their challenges and the environment they operate in.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car (for regular in-person client meetings).
