Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially astute, retailer-savvy Account Manager to drive sell-in performance and territory growth across our International Accounts (UK, Europe, and Australia). Reporting to the VP, Wholesale NA and based in London, UK, this role manages day-to-day retailer partnerships, co-manages joint business planning, and delivers against territory revenue targets.

This individual operates as a hands-on manager, serving as a primary operational and commercial contact for assigned retail partners. The ideal candidate brings wholesale account management experience in luxury beauty, strong execution skills, and the leadership capacity to manage direct report workflows while establishing efficient processes under leadership oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Sell-In

  • Own day-to-day relationships with assigned retail partners across the territory, including buyers, planners, and merchant teams.
  • Execute sell-in for all seasonal launches, novelty drops, holiday programmes, and core replenishment.
  • Partner with leadership to negotiate retailer-level joint business plans, terms, and trade investment within agreed commercial parameters.

Territory Performance & Forecasting

  • Support territory P&L health by tracking revenue, gross margin, and trade spend against targets.
  • Build and maintain accurate retailer-level forecasts, collaborating with Demand Planning to align supply with demand.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting, identifying operational risks and growth opportunities for the Wholesale Account Director.

Joint Business Planning & Cross-Functional Co-Ownership

  • Co-manage annual JBP implementation by retailer, aligning launch plans, marketing investment, and promotional commitments.
  • Actively partner with departmental leadership and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Education, PR) to connect the dots and execute 360 retailer plans.
  • Track JBP performance against agreed KPIs and participate in quarterly business reviews with retail partners.

Operational Excellence & Team Direction

  • Direct, delegate, and maintain a strong pulse on team workflows, guiding the Wholesale Account Coordinator to ensure end-to-end order-to-delivery execution.
  • Prioritize process optimization and workflow refinement—establishing efficient ways to resolve operational challenges and chargebacks with leadership oversight while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure accurate retailer master data, pricing, and assortment files are maintained across systems.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of wholesale account management experience in luxury beauty, fragrance, or prestige retail.
  • Team Leadership: Experience or demonstrated readiness to direct, delegate, and manage direct reports (e.g., Coordinators) to high standards of excellence.
  • Retailer Partnerships: Proven track record managing direct relationships with prestige beauty buyers and merchants in EMEA.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong forecasting, analytical, and problem-solving skills; comfortable interpreting sell-in/sell-out data to make good, timely commercial decisions.
  • Collaboration & Process Optimization: Experienced in working cross-functionally and refining workflows with leadership guidance to uphold luxury brand equity.
