Account Manager – SaaS / Finance Technology
Location: Hybrid – Remote with weekly travel into London
Sector: SaaS / Finance Technology
Focus: Account Growth & Retention
We're working with an established and growing B2B SaaS business that provides finance and accounting technology to mid-market organisations.
Following continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of key customers, strengthen senior-level relationships and drive long-term revenue growth across the existing client base.
This isn't a passive customer support role. We're looking for a commercially minded "farmer" who enjoys developing accounts, uncovering opportunities and becoming a genuine strategic partner to their customers.
The Role
You'll take ownership of key mid-market accounts and be responsible for increasing retention, expanding revenue and developing longer-term commercial relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Grow existing accounts – identify opportunities to increase recurring revenue through upsell, cross-sell and wider adoption.
- Secure long-term partnerships – move customers towards longer-term strategic agreements and increase overall account value.
- Build C-level relationships – develop trusted relationships with CFOs, finance leaders and senior operational stakeholders.
- Drive retention – proactively identify risks, improve customer engagement and minimise churn.
- Understand customer strategy – work closely with clients to understand their wider finance and technology requirements.
- Collaborate internally – coordinate with technical, product and delivery teams to ensure customers receive a high-quality service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
