About Foundation Personnel
Foundation Personnel is a specialist recruitment business focused exclusively on the Foundations, Civil Engineering and Infrastructure sectors. We work with some of the UK's leading contractors, subcontractors and principal contractors, supplying specialist labour, supervisory staff and management teams to projects across the country.
About the Role
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious and driven Account Manager to join our team and support the development of our client portfolio. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while ensuring labour requirements are fulfilled efficiently and to the highest standard. Working alongside our Delivery Team and Candidate Consultants, you will become a trusted recruitment partner to your clients, helping them achieve project success whilst growing revenue within your accounts. This role would suit someone with recruitment experience, account management experience or a background within the Foundations, Civils or Infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities
Client Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits.
- Understand workforce planning requirements and project pipelines.
- Deliver high levels of customer service.
- Resolve issues and queries effectively.
- Become a trusted advisor to your client base.

Recruitment & Delivery
- Manage client labour requirements from order through to placement.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure requirements are filled.
- Conduct worker welfare checks and site visits.
- Improve candidate retention and rebooking rates.
- Support major project mobilisations.
Account Growth
- Increase revenue within existing accounts.
- Identify opportunities across additional projects and business divisions.
- Generate referrals and introductions.
- Support framework and preferred supplier opportunities.
- Maximise profitability and gross margin performance.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure all workers meet client and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Support client audits and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all bookings and commercial information are recorded accurately.
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Commercially aware and target driven.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Recruitment industry experience.
- Experience within the Foundations, Civils or Infrastructure sectors.
- Experience of managing client accounts.
- Knowledge of CRM systems.
