NEW POSITION | ACCOUNT MANAGER (FACILITIES MANAGEMENT)
Location: Scotland ( Glasgow Office )
Sector: Education
Salary: £60,000 + Benefits + Car Allowance
Confero Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading global Facilities Management provider to recruit an experienced Account Manager to oversee the delivery of a major education contract across a large multi-site portfolio in Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity for an FM professional with strong leadership, client management, contracts, and operational delivery experience to take ownership of a high-profile account. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring service excellence, compliance, financial performance, and long-term client satisfaction.
The Role
As Account Manager, you will have full responsibility for the operational and contractual performance of a significant education sector contract. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will lead service delivery teams, manage supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of hard FM services across multiple education sites.
- Manage key client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders.
- Ensure contractual KPIs, SLAs, and compliance requirements are consistently achieved.
- Oversee health and safety performance, statutory compliance, and safeguarding obligations.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams to deliver exceptional service standards.
- Monitor and manage subcontractor and supplier performance.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
- Support asset management programmes, lifecycle planning, and project delivery.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous Account Manager, Senior Operations Manager, or Contract Manager experience within Facilities Management.
- Proven experience managing hard FM services within a multi-site environment.
- Strong commercial, financial, and contract management skills.
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management abilities.
- A strong understanding of health and safety and statutory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Experience within the education sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
