Account Manager – South Region
Are you an account manager who still likes to go and win new business, or alternatively, are you a business development person who loves to sell but wants to look after those clients you win too? If so, then this role combining account management and business development could be perfect for you.
This role is very much a field sales role focused on business development and account management covering the Southern Region. You will work on your own territory identifying opportunities for business expansion in support of the customer sales strategy and expanding on current customer engagement and developing new customers into the region across all sectors.

What you will be doing:
- Develop strong, strategic relationships with customers to identify and leverage the customers business goal and, growth strategies.
- Maintain and monitor pipelines and metrics for assigned customers and identify improvement and growth opportunities.
- Perform critical customer analysis to identify and leverage the partner’s marketing programs to achieve growth in their customer’s solutions capability.
- Work closely with Field Application Engineers to identify opportunities for Design Wins.
- Support supplier strategies by aligning solutions with customer to maximize profitable growth, and customer expansion.
- Work directly with suppliers to engage with new customers and target technologies.
- Deliver territory forecasting and sales development plans.
- Provide information to customers on products and services.
- Develop and maintain customer business plan for each assigned account and ensure alignment between customer requirements and company goals.
- Support promotional sales activities.

What we are looking for:
- Relevant experience in technical sales and / or business development, ideally within the electronic connector or component distribution market.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven commercial and technical skills.
- Open-minded, flexible, and energetic.
- Demonstrate ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate and present in a professional manner.
