Account Manager

About the Role
Recruiting for an experienced and customer-focused Account Manager to join our client's team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers, developing strong working relationships and ensuring that customer requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
This is a highly organized, customer-facing role involving the coordination of customer requirements with internal teams, managing projects and ensuring customers receive a consistently high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, professional customer relationships.
- Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day customer requirements.
- Understand customer expectations and ensure these are communicated effectively internally.
- Coordinate customer projects from initial requirements through to completion.
- Liaise with relevant internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide customers with regular updates on projects, orders, and delivery requirements.
- Attend customer meetings and occasional customer visits when required.
- Manage customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate the resolution of customer concerns with the appropriate internal departments.
- Monitor project progress and ensure agreed deadlines are achieved.
- Ensure customer information and records are maintained accurately.
- Manage multiple customer requirements and priorities at the same time.
- Support general administration and customer service activities as required.
- Work to agreed service and performance KPIs.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in Account Management, Customer Service, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Highly customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Confident dealing with customers at all levels.
- A strong relationship builder with a professional and approachable manner.
- Well-organized with excellent time-management skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy working environment.
- Calm and methodical when working under pressure.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving customer issues.
- Confident communicating with different departments and coordinating activities.
- Able to analyze problems and identify practical solutions.
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent in both written and verbal communication.

The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive a high standard of service throughout their relationship with the business.
You will work closely with internal teams to coordinate customer requirements, manage projects, and resolve any issues that arise. Building trust and maintaining effective communication will be a key part of the role.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, reliable, and customer-focused, with the ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
