Location: Congleton
Salary: £35k plus £12k Commission and £5k Car Allowance
Work Arrangement: Full time in the office for 6 months then Hybrid working.
The Opportunity
Focus Group (£1bn valuation, 30,000+ customers) needs an Account Manager to own a portfolio of existing customer accounts. You'll be the first person they will contact, helping deliver advice, guidance, and service by telephone, face-to-face, or email.
This is all about building long-term relationships, looking for opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and flagging opportunities for new business along the way.

What you'll be doing
- Own a panel of existing customer accounts and become the first person they call
- Deliver advice, guidance, and service by phone, face-to-face, or email
- Look for opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within your accounts
- Flag opportunities for new business along the way
- Pick up service queries and escalations and see them through to resolution
- Promote the customer portal and run CIO (Chief Information Officer) sessions
- Keep accurate records across your panel
What we need from you
- Account management experience within the technology industry — essential
- Excellent communication skills, whether that's on the phone, in writing, or face-to-face
- The confidence to present to customers, including senior stakeholders
- Strong time management and the ability to prioritize a busy workload
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- A team player who's just as comfortable working independently
- The ability to explain technical detail in plain English
- A genuine customer-first mindset
