Position Summary:
Supports Account Executives in supporting large group clients and consultants. As an Account Manager, you will be assigned specific clients to work with along with a Senior Account Executive on the team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Account Manager identifies customer specific service issues, provides solutions, and leads resolution of issues working with other areas to implement.
- Proactive and responsive, taking ownership of claim, eligibility service issues that come in from client/consultant.
- Tracking open issues, follow up, getting resolution and keeping a log for tracking.
- Leads monthly/bi-weekly client service calls – which includes updating the Decision and Issues Log.
- Supports and conducts open enrollment activities, includes Teams, virtual and face to face OE meetings, attending and supporting – providing material needed for OE meeting and includes coordinating, supporting, and conducting OE meeting.
- Actively involved in client discussions, taking notes and providing follow up but also offering up ideas and suggestions.
- External Messaging to clients when it comes to communications. Examples include general announcements, wellness messaging as needed; discussion between AE/AM.
- Over time, independently manage more complex service issues from beginning to end without AE involvement.
- Housing reports, all necessary contact sheets, documents in shared drive for others to access.
- Thorough understanding of client benefits offerings, including programs in place and their goals; knows the client and has developed relationship with client/consultant.
- Submit for SBC requests when plan designs are finalized.
- Benefit Summaries/Plan Documents/SBC’s, review documents to make sure accurate.
- Able to have discussions with clients/consultants articulating how programs work.
- Assist AE as needed when requested to pull brochures, flyers.

Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in account management/sales support and or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or communications.
- Illinois health and life insurance license or willingness to obtain in 90 days. Failure to comply will result in termination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communications skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing communications or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range
- The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $93,574.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
