Mantell Associates is partnered with a global CDMO specialising in Oral Solid Dose formats, who are searching for an Account Manager to join their Commercial team in the UK.

Account Manager - Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts across health and wellness brands, acting as their primary point of contact
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients, understanding their brand goals and translating these into commercial opportunities
  • Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the organisation's OSD formats (e.g. tablets, capsules, softgels, gummies, powders)
  • Coordinate with internal Technical, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to ensure client projects are delivered on time and to specification
  • Manage the end-to-end client project lifecycle, from initial brief through to formulation, validation and launch
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations and contract renewals in line with client requirements
  • Monitor account performance, forecasting and revenue targets, reporting regularly to senior leadership
  • Represent the organisation at trade shows, industry events and client meetings across the UK and internationally
  • Stay close to market trends within the health, wellness and beauty categories to identify new opportunities for existing clients

Account Manager - Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an Account Management or Business Development role within a CDMO, CMO or contract manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Oral Solid Dose formats and manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing client accounts within a B2B setting
  • Excellent relationship management, communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Technical, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally
  • Based in the UK, with flexibility for regular client and site visits
