Account Manager (Maternity Cover)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract – 12 Months (Maternity Cover)
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Account Manager to join our Sales team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you will manage and grow an established portfolio of agency and brand clients while identifying new business opportunities across a range of digital advertising solutions. You will play a key role in building long-term client relationships, delivering successful campaigns, and contributing to revenue growth. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong commercial awareness, and is passionate about digital advertising and client success. As this is a maternity cover role, we're looking for someone who can quickly integrate into the team and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow revenue across an existing portfolio of agency and brand clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Prepare and present advertising proposals and commercial solutions tailored to client objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including proposals, bookings, campaign delivery, renewals, and upselling opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide clients with regular campaign updates, performance insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Introduce new products and advertising opportunities to maximize client investment.
- Monitor pipeline performance, forecast revenue, and report on sales activity.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered successfully and client expectations are exceeded.

Requirements
- Previous experience in Digital Media Sales, Advertising Sales, or Account Management.
- Experience working with media agencies and direct advertisers.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Commercial mindset with a proven ability to achieve revenue targets.
- Ability to build trusted client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Analytical mindset with confidence in using campaign data and insights to support recommendations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within digital advertising, ad-tech, programmatic, or online media is highly desirable.
- Interest in digital media, technology, entertainment, or gaming is considered an advantage.
