Are you an experienced Account Manager within the IT MSP or VAR space who enjoys both winning new business and growing existing relationships?
I'm working with a growing technology business looking for a Senior Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of customers while also bringing in new business.
This is a true 50/50 hunter/farmer role - so you'll have the opportunity to build new relationships, win new logos and expand a portfolio of existing customers.
What you'll be doing
50% New Business
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers
- Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through to close
- Leverage warm leads, inbound enquiries, referrals, partners and events
- Build and manage your own pipeline

50% Account Management & Growth
- Own and develop an existing customer portfolio
- Build strong, long-term relationships
- Manage renewals and commercial negotiations
- Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Grow recurring revenue and account profitability
- Work closely with technical and service delivery teams to deliver great customer outcomes
What we're looking for
- 3–5+ years' experience within an IT MSP, VAR or reseller environment
- Proven track record of winning new customers AND growing existing accounts
- Experience selling IT solutions/services such as Managed IT, Cyber Security, Cloud, Licensing, Hardware, Software or Professional Services
- Comfortable engaging with senior and C-level stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and a track record against sales targets
- Consultative, proactive approach - someone who creates opportunities rather than waits for them
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and closing skills
- Based in London or within a realistic commute of around 1 hour
