We're on a mission to improve education for everyone, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to help us achieve it.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, account management, and customer success. In this role, you will be developing relationships with school administrators across the UK to ensure satisfaction throughout the customer life cycle. You will handle Tutoring renewals, expansions, customer retention efforts, and engagement activities in your assigned territory focusing on customer accounts.
To be successful in this role, you are proactive, extremely well organized, efficient, and very personable with strong communication skills, especially written/email communication. As an Account Manager you must have the ability to handle multiple transactions effectively and efficiently with a customer-service mindset. This position is about efficiency and execution. We are looking for a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is self-motivated with outstanding people skills and integrity. You must have internal collaboration skills to work with your account management colleagues and team lead.
This is a full-time position that requires you to be in our London, England, office on Old Street.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing approximately 300-500 customer accounts on average
- Proactive outreach to customers with expiring accounts through phone, video, email, and targeted campaigns to secure Tutoring renewals in your assigned territory
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to ensure customer engagement throughout the life of the account
- Develop a deep understanding of the MyTutor product and what sets us apart from competing programs
- Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide the best in class customer experience and maximize product usage and engagement
- Effectively communicate new product enhancements and benefits to existing customers virtually
- Conduct regular territory review meetings with internal stakeholders to communicate general territory health, trends, including changes to strategic direction
- Accurately track all customer-related activities, communication, and opportunities in Salesforce.com
- Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to learn and be an expert on the MyTutor platform
- Classroom experience and/or related educational field experience of 2+ years preferred
- Account Management/Customer Service experience a plus
- Exceptional communication skills - verbal and written
- Presentation skills
- Comfortable with technology and passionate about bringing Tutoring into the classroom
- Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced team environment
- Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
- Exceptional critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
- MS Office, Google Suite computer skills. SalesForce experience a plus
- Proven ability to work effectively across teams
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple accounts/activities simultaneously
