Account Manager
Location: Oldbury, office-based
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Circa £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Are you a commercially minded Account Manager who enjoys building trusted customer relationships and identifying opportunities for growth?

As they continue to grow, they're looking for an Account Manager who can become a trusted partner to their customers while helping to drive long-term commercial success.
What You'll Be Doing
As the main point of contact for a portfolio of customers, you'll build lasting partnerships, coordinate projects internally, and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong, long-term relationships with key customer accounts.
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, projects, and technical requirements.
- Developing a thorough understanding of each customer's business and future requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
- Preparing quotations, pricing proposals, and responses to RFQs.
- Working closely with Sales, Operations, Quality, and Production teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Managing customer issues through to resolution, ensuring a positive experience throughout.
- Using commercial data and customer insight to develop competitive proposals.
- Maintaining accurate account records and customer information.
- Developing a strong understanding of the company's specialist coating technologies.
- Visiting customer sites and attending industry events when required.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, building long-term partnerships, and finding solutions that create value.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in Account Management, Sales, Customer Service, or Client Relationship Management positions.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities.
- A proactive, organized, and customer-focused approach.
- Excellent influence and problem-solving abilities.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or technical industries would be advantageous.

Hours
Full-time onsite in Oldbury with a flexible attitude towards working hours.
- Monday – Thursday: 08.00-17.00
- Friday: 08.00-13:30
