Account Manager for New Business - UK

We are looking for an Account Manager for New Business in the UK to join MTD’s Flex Water division. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity within an international start-up division that forms part of a rapidly growing global organisation.

As a trusted partner in water solutions, the Flex Water division supports both urgent and planned projects in remote and challenging locations worldwide. Key sectors you will work with include: temporary housing, infrastructure, defence, industry, healthcare and water utilities. Given the vast opportunities in these sectors, MTD offers you the chance to take ownership of a business segment where you can develop both professionally and commercially. In line with MTD’s ambitions, you look forward to building on the growth of the Flex Water division.

In your role as New Business Account Manager, no two days are the same. You will be responsible for the commercial development and successful delivery of a variety of unique projects, from the initial site visit right through to the final project evaluation with the client. You will maintain and develop the existing client portfolio and acquire new clients. You will oversee the quality of project delivery and monitor market developments to identify emerging opportunities and trends. You will work closely with the Engineering & Design team and with experienced project managers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
