Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking an Account Manager to join our Electrical Products division.

This is a high-impact sales role where you will act as a key commercial partner to wholesale customers, driving demand, increasing market penetration, and delivering sales growth for Wylex and Crabtree products. Through strong customer relationships and effective opportunity conversion, you will help strengthen brand presence and maximise performance across your territory.

Key Responsibilities

As an Account Manager you will:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic wholesale customers, local contractors and key stakeholders across the territory
  • Partner with branch teams and Business Development Managers to drive product advocacy, maximise opportunity conversion, and support sales growth.
  • Manage local authority specification activity, maintaining existing business while identifying and securing new opportunities.
  • Oversee territory forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting, ensuring accurate visibility of opportunities and growth.
  • Collaborate with wholesale partners to increase product availability, expand range penetration, and strengthen market presence for Wylex and Crabtree.

Essential Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Strong relationship management and customer engagement skills
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and territory management skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and develop a broad customer base.
  • Proven experience selling a comparable product portfolio within the electrical, construction, or wholesale sector.
