Company Description

Founded by two-time Olympian and Beijing Olympic Silver Medallist Cameron McKenzie-McHarg, 776BC makes technical performance apparel with the same intensity, passion and desire to achieve success as an athlete.

We engineer gear for athletes first, as we know athletes wear gear the hardest. Our ‘athlete-centred’ design process is unique, engaging athletes from the start of the development process to provide ongoing feedback on prototypes.

Our promise is to never stop evolving, improving and innovating. To consistently deliver world-leading apparel built for your pursuit.

776BC. For Athletes.

Role Description

The Account Manager UK is our person on the ground in one of the world’s most important rowing markets. You’ll own in-market growth for our Custom teamwear business across the UK, building new relationships with clubs, schools, universities and programs and growing the accounts we already have.

This is a full-cycle sales role. You find and open the opportunity, take the customer through the Custom journey from range planning and design to delivery, and keep them coming back season after season. You work in HubSpot, partner closely with our design team and rely on our operations team to land high-quality product on time. You are the voice of the UK customer back into the business.

You know the sport, or you can get inside it quickly. You understand how clubs and schools make kit decisions, who influences them and when the buying windows open. You’re comfortable at a regatta on a Saturday, in a boathouse on a Tuesday evening and on a call with Melbourne first thing in the morning.

You’ll report to our International Sales Manager in Melbourne and work as part of a small global sales team spanning Australia, Asia, the UK and Europe. You’ll be largely self-directed day to day, so you need to be organised, commercially sharp and comfortable owning a territory.

Responsibilities

Business Development and Account Management

  • Own and deliver the UK sales budget.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales KPIs and revenue targets agreed with the International Sales Manager, including new account acquisition, repeat order rate and average order value.
  • Build a pipeline of clubs, schools, universities and programs across the UK and convert them to 776BC Custom. Present our range and product, run fittings and sampling, and close the deal.
  • Nurture existing UK accounts so they get the right product at the right time, drive repeat orders and expand the range each account carries.
  • Take each customer from brief to delivery, working with the design team on artwork and range, managing timelines and expectations and coordinating with operations to deliver on time and to standard.
  • Help build and execute the UK growth plan with the International Sales Manager, including target accounts, seasonal buying windows and event calendar.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
