Account Manager - Diagnostics
Territory: South UK Field-Based | Travel Required
We are partnering with a leading organisation within the diagnostics industry to recruit an experienced Account Manager to support and grow their customer base across the South of the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with experience in the diagnostics market who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue across a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts across the South UK territory.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within NHS, private healthcare, laboratory, and diagnostic settings.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and commercial proposals.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Manage sales activity through the CRM system and provide accurate territory forecasting.
- Travel regularly throughout the territory to meet customers and attend industry events.

Requirements
- Previous sales or account management experience within the diagnostics industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful customer relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience selling into diagnostic laboratories, pathology, molecular diagnostics, clinical diagnostics, or related healthcare environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the South of the UK.
