About Stitchy
Stitchy is the post-social agency, built for a world in which social media is no longer a channel sitting at the edge of marketing, but the operating environment through which culture moves, platforms learn and brands are increasingly discovered, experienced and remembered.
Social and marketing science sit at the heart of everything we do, even when the strategic answer is not “social”. We combine an understanding of platforms, creators, feeds and contemporary culture with established principles of brand growth, mental availability, distinctive assets and memory formation, using both to determine what a brand needs rather than allowing channel convention to dictate the solution.
We believe brands grow by becoming easier to recognise, retrieve and predict across fragmented encounters, which requires stable, distinctive patterns that people and platforms can learn over time. Our work brings together brand strategy, social, creators, modern media and creativity to help clients build coherent systems that compound, rather than disconnected campaigns that disappear as quickly as they arrive.
We are looking for an Account Manager who can help make that ambition real by creating strong client relationships, maintaining momentum across complex projects and ensuring that excellent strategic and creative thinking is matched by equally strong delivery.
The Role
The Account Manager will sit at the centre of Stitchy’s client relationships, connecting our clients, strategists, creatives, producers, partners and founders while ensuring that the work remains focused, organised and commercially sound.
This is a hands-on role within a growing independent agency, so you will need to be comfortable managing several fast-moving workstreams, responding constructively when priorities change and taking ownership without waiting for somebody else to provide all the answers.
You will need judgement and composure, particularly when deadlines tighten, projects become complicated or clients need difficult conversations handled directly. We are not looking for aggression or performative toughness, but we do need somebody who can absorb pressure without transferring it to the team, hold people to commitments and remain focused on the standard of the work.
You will work closely with Stitchy’s founders and partners, all established and regarded figures within the industry, which means you will have significant access, responsibility and influence from the outset. In return, we expect curiosity, entrepreneurial energy and a genuine appetite for helping build the agency, rather than simply administering the accounts placed in front of you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You Will Do
- Build trusted relationships with clients, becoming a reliable day-to-day partner who understands their business, anticipates their needs and provides clear, considered advice.
- Lead the day-to-day management of multiple accounts and workstreams, maintaining control of timings, budgets, scope, responsibilities, approvals and next steps without losing sight of the broader strategic and creative objective.
- Create clarity across complex projects by identifying dependencies, resolving ambiguity and making sure that clients and internal teams understand what is required, by whom and by when.
- Write clear briefs, contact reports, scopes, status updates and client recommendations that help people make decisions rather than adding unnecessary process.
- Work closely with strategy, creative and production throughout the development of the work, protecting the original ambition while helping teams navigate practical, commercial and client constraints.
- Remain actively involved in creative development, bringing a constructive point of view, asking useful questions and helping good ideas become stronger without confusing account management with creative direction.
- Manage challenging conversations with honesty and composure, including conversations about scope, budget, timing, feedback, quality and responsibility.
- Recognise risks before they become problems, escalating with judgement while taking personal responsibility for resolving the issues that sit within your control.
- Manage several competing priorities without becoming dependent on constant supervision, ensuring that important details are handled while maintaining perspective on what matters most.
- Develop a strong understanding of Stitchy’s post-social philosophy and Brand Operating Systems, helping clients understand why our approach differs from conventional campaign-led agency thinking.
- Support pitches and organic growth opportunities by coordinating responses, contributing to the commercial and strategic story and helping the agency present itself at its best.
- Build strong, commercially responsible accounts by understanding scopes, monitoring resource and identifying where Stitchy can create additional value for clients.
- Help improve the way Stitchy operates by identifying recurring friction, proposing better processes and creating practical systems that support the agency as it scales.
What We Are Looking For
You will have at least four years of experience within an agency environment, working in client services, account management or a closely related role across creatively led work.
You should be:
- Curious about brands, people, culture, platforms and business, with the instinct to understand why something is happening rather than simply recording that it has happened.
- Entrepreneurial in how you approach problems, taking ownership, finding a route forward and recognising that a start-up or scale-up environment requires initiative as well as execution.
- Resilient under pressure, with the emotional steadiness to manage demanding clients, compressed deadlines, conflicting priorities and complicated projects without losing control or lowering the standard of your work.
- Comfortable multitasking across several clients and workstreams, while remaining sufficiently organised to prevent detail, commitments or commercial responsibilities from being lost.
- Confident and credible with clients, able to build warm relationships while setting boundaries, challenging constructively and holding firm when the work or the agency requires it.
- Genuinely invested in creatively led work, with strong judgement, considered opinions and the willingness to stay close to the work throughout its development.
- Commercially aware, with practical experience of scopes, budgets, resource planning and account growth rather than seeing commercial management as somebody else’s responsibility.
- A strong communicator who can write clearly, listen carefully and make complex or sensitive matters easier for other people to understand.
- Comfortable working closely with founders, contributing your own perspective and accepting direct feedback without becoming defensive or requiring excessive reassurance.
- Adaptable enough to work within an agency that is still building its structures, while disciplined enough to help create the processes and standards that will support its growth.
- Able to work from our Hackney studio three days each week.

What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means that clients trust you, internal teams rely on you and projects retain momentum because you bring structure, foresight and sound judgement to the work.
It means being able to manage pressure without creating additional drama, dealing with problems directly and maintaining strong relationships without becoming passive or overly accommodating.
It also means contributing beyond the immediate delivery of your accounts by improving how Stitchy works, spotting opportunities for growth and helping build an agency in which strategic and creative ambition is supported by operational discipline.
What You Will Get
You will join an ambitious independent agency at a stage when your contribution can materially shape its client relationships, working culture and future growth, while working directly with founders who have built successful agencies and developed recognised perspectives on strategy, creativity and modern brand building.
The role offers a salary of up to £45,000, plus profit share and benefits, alongside meaningful responsibility, close access to decision-making and the opportunity to develop within an agency whose work crosses brand strategy, social, creators, platforms, modern media and culture, with marketing science providing the intellectual foundation for everything we do.
