Account Manager

Aviation Products | Southampton | Onsite | Working hours: 8.00 am–4.00 pm

Role Overview

Capilaux Aero is supporting an aviation products company selling to airlines in the appointment of an Account Manager.

This is primarily an account management and operational delivery role rather than a traditional new-business sales position. The successful candidate will take ownership of customer accounts once products have been approved, coordinating each order through supply, shipping and delivery.

The role requires strong experience in logistics, international shipping and customer coordination, together with the confidence to manage forecasts, order schedules, payments and delivery expectations across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage airline customer relationships following product approval and act as the main point of contact throughout order fulfilment.
  • Coordinate the ordering of products from suppliers and arrange accurate, on-time delivery to customers.
  • Review airline forecasts and advise customers on future ordering requirements and demand planning.
  • Discuss forecasts, order schedules and payment schedules with customers, managing expectations throughout the process.
  • Liaise closely with suppliers, airline customers, freight forwarders, warehouse colleagues and internal teams.
  • Prepare country-specific documentation for international shipments and maintain accurate shipping records.
  • Support customs processes, bonded goods, import and export requirements, duty matters and VAT deferment records.
  • Process customer orders, raise supplier purchase orders and monitor delivery times through to completion.
  • Raise sales invoices, issue account statements and follow up on overdue customer payments where required.
  • Maintain accurate customer, order, stock and account information using Xero and internal records.
  • Identify additional customer requirements and communicate potential sales or cross-selling opportunities to the commercial team.
  • Attend and prepare for customer meetings, respond to account queries and support the ongoing development of customer relationships.
  • Ensure relevant product compliance documentation is current, accurate and held on file.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
